Look at me hold my rattle!

I am very proud of this video! Jude cannot pick the toy up, but he can grasp it when it is put in his hand. Notice he looks at it, and smiles. I am just thrilled with this!!! It's the little things :)

See my teeth? I am a P-I-R-H-A-N-A!

AWESOME!! he looks sooo proud, like I know everyone else is!!! When your life (or should I say your childs development) is in slow motion it allows you to stop and cherish all the little things that most would take for granted!

GO JUDE!!

Hooray! You know, you'll be shocked at how much he learns. I remember when Charlie was first able to grasp things--he was seven months old and we'd finally stopped his seizures. Now days, we're *trying* to teach him how to use a fork. He's fabulous, Jennifer!

PS: when Charlie was at this stage, we got him some "keys" from Sassy that he just LOVED.

Awesome!! That's how Kendall started! Now, she will reach out for a toy and bang it on her own.

We waited a long time for that day...but now she can somewhat entertain herself...(for like 2 minutes!)

Baby steps.

Dear Jenn
There is a new CP website www.CerebralPalsySocial.org and I suspect you will probably want to know about it. It’s for people who cope with cerebral palsy directly or indirectly, on a daily basis.

So what can I say about it. It pays to have a look because you’ll see we’ve taken our first steps and now want to increase membership to make it more useful for all who use it.

You are invited to open a blog, use the bookmark function, start polling, open a group or join an existing group, connect your Twitter or FriendFeed to your profile, and the options are growing all the time. Most of all, you can stay in touch with your friends and make new ones!

So, stay well and stay in touch.

Wonderful way to go Jude!!! Great progress so nice to see. I agree with Katy too Jude is going to surprise you it took my daughter until 15 months to bring her hand to her mouth. She will be five next month and is finger feeding herself, turns pages and now can grasp and release toys. The release part took a lot of work but she figured it out.

I see Jude making some amazing strides too.
