Happy Fathers Day

Jude had a seizure that was so horrible this morning, that I was crying right along with him. I am still at a loss as to why this new medication as stopped all his small spasms but has created monster seizures that are sporadic. I am hoping as we increase the dosage we will see less, and less of these horrible episodes. In the olden days people that were epileptic were labeled "possessed", and you can see why when you witness these seizures.

Our wonderful friend Gina came over last night, and watched Jude while Mike, and I went out. We went to have Sushi, and then we went to the Movie Tavern to have some drinks, and watch, "Get Him To The Greek". It was a great night, and it was nice for us to get out together. I think it relieved some stress, and we were able to just enjoy each other.

I would like to say Happy Fathers day to my amazing husband. I understand that your life is so difficult at times. I know it's hard for you to be a stay at home dad, but you are amazing. I can understand how difficult things are for you sometimes, but you always pull through. Jude, and Emily are so lucky to have such a great person in their lives. I love you very much. Anyone can be a father, but it takes a special soul to be a daddy.

I know what you mean about the seizures looking like a possession...I thought I was the only one who thought Hudson looked like demons were invading his body during his big ugly seizures...in my book they are awful demons...hate 'em!!!!

Sounds like you are seeing the big bad ones like we see...so sorry...I cry too, I know the pain you feel.
